Our design and engineering practices target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Key accessibility features implemented across this site include:

  • Skip to Content Navigation: A keyboard-accessible skip link at the top of every page allows screen reader and keyboard-only users to bypass navigation menus directly to the main landmark.
  • Full Keyboard Operability: All interactive elements, dropdown menus, accordions, and checklist toggles are operable via standard keyboard controls (Tab, Enter, Space, Escape).
  • Color Contrast & Typography: Text and essential interactive components maintain a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against their backgrounds for comfortable readability.
  • Descriptive Text Equivalents: Informative images include descriptive alternative text (alt attributes); purely decorative icons are hidden from assistive technologies using aria-hidden="true".
  • Semantic HTML Landmarks: Pages are structured using appropriate HTML5 landmarks (<header>, <nav>, <main>, <article>, <section>, <footer>) and hierarchical heading levels (single H1 per page, sequential H2/H3).
  • Form Accessibility: All form fields feature explicit, visible labels associated via matching id and for attributes, accompanied by clear error messaging.
  • No Autoplay Media or Flashing: We do not employ autoplaying video, background audio, or rapid flashing elements.
